Women all around the world have contributed to humankind for many years in different ways. Nothing could stop them when they were considered weak and powerless. Their remarkable contributions even under those bad circumstances are so impressive and inspiring for everyone that we can only be proud. Behind every contribution and impact, there is an empowering story of a powerful woman.
Most of the women who have managed to make a significant impact had to face many obstacles, but they were all brave enough to cope with them. They fought against gender stereotypes, discrimination, inequality of rights, anyone saying ‘Women are not capable.’ and many more. We hope to inspire every woman around the world on this special day, International Women’s Day. As a woman, you are strong, smart, and brave enough to overcome any obstacle you face and to change the world. She is one of the most successful female writers in the world. She encourages and helps every woman speak up their truths and follow their dreams. She never had an easy and peaceful life. She went through many struggles like bankruptcy, divorce of her parents, or with her husband, poverty, and many more.
She didn't even have a computer while writing Harry Potter, so she wrote the book by hand. Fun fact, Harry Potter was rejected by so many publishers at that time, but a small company agreed to publish it because the child of the publishing house loved the book. After all these bad things and despair, she got very successful and inspired a lot of people around the world including adults.

We all know Oprah by her immense influence on people’s lives. She wonderfully uses her power on TV for good deeds, inspiring, empowering, educating, and helping people. Do you know her background and struggles as a child? She is a victim of sexual abuse. She was molested by her own uncle when she was 14. Many people have tried to discourage her by criticizing her for being fat and a lot more so far. Nonetheless, she was a rock even when she was a child. Her courage and belief in herself had never been shaken up by the harshest situations, and she became Oprah.

She is a powerful and impressive figure for many girls who cannot get one of their fundamental rights, education. At the age of 11, she started to fight for women’s right to education and gender equality. She won a Nobel Prize and made history when she was only 17.
After she started to make an impact on the right to education in the Taliban, she got shot in the head. However, she recovered from vital damages and continued to help others. She became the voice of people who got silenced, got oppressed.

She is a very successful tennis player who has become a champion. She fought for wage equality. She has empowered all women to fight for equal pay for their labors. She, in HeForShe, also speaks up for this matter and tries to make an impact.
Furthermore, she openly came out as a gay person and used her voice as an advocate of LGBTQ rights. In the video, you’ll see her impressive Ted Talk.

Rosa Parks is such an inspiring woman figure in history that has taught every woman and man to fight for their rights regardless of the situation. She lived in an era of discrimination against black people was at its peak. She refused to give her seat to a white man one day, stood up for her rights.
Finally, it became one of the most significant turning points in civil rights history. She is known as the ‘mother of the freedom movement’ because her refusal to give up on her seat caused several significant changes in the legislation of the USA. She still inspires all of us with her courage, faith, determination, and her powerful image.
In conclusion, all these great women empower us and change the world about serious matters such as sexual abuse, women’s rights, discrimination, inequality, and so on.
