So, you got attracted to a guy a lot and started dating that guy who makes you happy all the time. Everything happened so fast that you did not even see it coming, right? After thinking about your relationship with him, you realize that some things are wrong with this relationship. You cannot define anything as a problem, but you know some things should not be like this. He never calls you to go out on a date. You cannot meet him as much as you want because he never has enough time for you. You realize that he is not into you as much as you are into him. You cannot see anything proving that you are dating him. Well, you are right about it. Something fishy must be going on there. Now, you want to be sure if he is playing with you or not, but you cannot ask him. Well, you are in the right place. Here are the most common ways to tell if your partner is a player.
It is inevitable to get caught red-handed for someone who lies too much. If your date lies, you will surely catch him lying several times. Yes, everyone can sometimes lie to avoid problems. However, he has no reason to lie to you unless he is not hiding anything from you. He might lie to you about his plans for the night. He might lie to you about who he was with when he was not with you. Even if he does not lie to you, you might catch him lying to other people on the phone when you are with him. What you can do is to be sure his lies are only little ones that will hurt nobody.
No matter how pleased he seems when he is with you, he might be seeing some other girls too. If he is playing with you, he will be reluctant to commit anything with you. He will delay THE TALK as much as he can by saying it is not the right time and he needs more time to get to know you. Most probably, he will not introduce you to his friends or his family. Even if he does, he will not introduce you as his girlfriend. A player mentions himself as single all the time. He can even say it without hesitation while you think you are dating him. If he is a player, he cannot commit anything with you because he can't decide who to choose among all the girls.
When you are attracted to someone or start to like someone, you get curious about them a lot. You try to learn everything about them. Naturally, you will get curious about that guy and ask him questions all the time to get to know him better. Probably, he will answer some of your questions but not all of them. Your questions might even bore him, and he might want you to stop asking. No matter how hard you try to connect with him, he will never let you do it. He will never share the details of his life with you. Besides, he will never get curious enough to get to know you either. He will barely ask you questions. You will feel that he is not interested in you or your life. I suggest you not waste your time on someone who does not deserve you.
Flirting is not an accurate sign showing that he is a player as long as he is honest about his relationship status. If he is flirtatious, it might be his characteristic that he cannot help. However, if his eyes are always wandering around, and he dares to go a step further than only flirting with other girls, it means that he is not a keeper. He can flirt with anyone at any time. He might even flirt with your friends that you introduce him. If he always gives you these constant signs, leave him there and move.
When you call him to meet up, his dad might be sick. When you wait for him to answer your text, he might be busy with something so important that it can take a few days for him to answer. He will have some excuses to cancel your plans at the last moment. If you insist on discussing your relationship with him, he will bring up something as it is stopping him from getting serious with you. Moreover, you keep waiting for him to be available to meet or talk for days or weeks. Don't forget that he will never be ready for that talk. Stop waiting for him, because no time will be the right time for him, ever!
