So, you have been using dating apps to meet new people. And, you have found some cute singles or even got matches with them. You got curious about them and wanted to start chatting with them immediately. What did you do next? Of course, you sent them a message saying hi. After your message, you waited to get a response from them for a day, but you never got it. Then, you waited a couple of days more. Still no response. Now, you don't know what to do or what to think about them. Well, don't worry or get frustrated, because this is quite normal when dating online. It happens to everyone while staying as a great mystery. It might have some reasons that make these singles not respond to you. You can get an idea of why your match is not responding to you by reading the rest of the article. It will help you realize what you did wrong, or what went wrong with your match.
1. You Got a Wrong Pick-up Line
Words can mean more than you intend. The first impression is so important that people can understand a lot of things about you only by your first word. Especially when you are chatting with someone, your choice of words becomes more important because they are the only things that reveal your personality. If you picked up the wrong line to start the chat, that might be the reason why you did not get a response. Your pick-up line might be too monotonous or too hard to answer with anything. Be careful picking up a line because it may be either a great start or a fast end of your chat. Don't ask questions like What's up?' or What you are doing? These questions of someone you do not know are hard to respond to because they cannot give details about their life that you do not even have a clue about what you expect to read. You should introduce yourself first before asking that kind of question.
2. You Are Not Their Type
Not all dating apps work through matches. If you use some other apps and send a message to someone, the first reason that should come to mind is that you are not their type. Even if you use other dating apps and get a match with no response, they might have regretted their choice right away. They even might have matched with you accidentally. So, you should analyze your situation first and then start worrying about it if necessary. If you are not their type, there is nothing to worry about. You deserve someone who likes you, so you should keep looking for that person.
3. They Stopped Using The App
It is a low possibility, but still, it is a possibility. Your match might have lost hope to meet someone special and has just stopped using the app. At least, you do not get a response because your match does not see any of your messages. It is not a bad sign for you, not at all. You can wait for some time for your match to come back, but do not get your hopes up. If it is gone, it is gone. You should move on now.
4. They Got Married

The only thing you can do in this situation is to hope for your match to log in again. Don't worry your match will respond to your message as soon as they see it. Just wait for that response that might start a new relationship.
