We all think we know what love is until someone wants us to define it. Then, we will take some more time thinking about it because none of us know what love is. Love is the most beautiful but terrifying thing that can ever happen to you. It is the most ambiguous thing that still keeps its nature a secret. People have been wondering a lot about love, yet only a few things have come to light so far. Still, many things are unknown about love despite various scientific and sociological studies. However, we still cannot be sure if we are in love or not because of the excitement, tension, and confusing feelings that love put us all through. You can be sure you are in love with someone after realizing things you haven't before. You can see the specific signs that can make you know that you love someone.
You Can't Stay Away
If you are in love with someone, you can't stay away from them. Your eyes will look for them everywhere you go, and you can't have fun when you don't see them. You start to go where they go just to see or talk to them. You can't stop staring at them when they are around. Besides, you can't take your hands off of them. You always want to touch them. That's why couples hold each other's hands or hug each other all the time. You will not want to be without your valentine even for a minute. You never get bored of anything you do with your partner because you are happy as long as you are with your partner.
You Get Scared and Jealous
There is no doubt that love makes you much more emotional than usual. Apart from being emotional, you slowly start to get different feelings that you haven't before. You might get scared to make something wrong and lose your partner. This feeling can hold you back in the relationship, so you should try not to exaggerate and ruin everything. You can get jealous of your partner as well. It is quite a natural feeling if you are in love, but you shouldn't overreact over jealousy. Since jealousy has a boundary that you cannot cross, you need to be sure that you let your partner live as an individual without the limits you set. I am sorry to say it, but excessive jealousy is the main reason for ending loving relationships.
You Do Not See Any Flaw
When you fall in love with someone, you see your partner as a perfect person who has no flaws at all. Yes, the reason why you think in that way is love. Even if you know your partner has some flaws, you will learn how to accept those flaws. Your valentine's flaws might even seem cute to you. No matter what other people say or think about your partner, you keep loving them without hesitation. It is love, so you can't just quit loving people just because they have some flaws like everyone else. You learn how to accept them, and it will also make you more mature as a person. You will see that some flaws can even be cute, and you will get used to them.
You Become a Better Person
After falling in love, you will see how essential being happy is and how much love can make people happy on its own. So, you try to make people happy instead of ignoring them. You begin to change and become a better person with love unconsciously. Your partner can make you realize the things you haven't been aware of before. Thus, you both become better together. Love also makes you more energetic than usual. So, you become a happier person, and you get a kind attitude about everything. How can you not be a happier person with butterflies in your stomach? Love is the magic that makes the world a better place for us all.
You Know Everything About Them
When you fall for someone, you want to learn everything about your partner because you get curious about them. You realize what you have to learn either by stalking them or asking them. You want to see your partner's childhood photographs and get to know their family as well. You can remember everything about your partner without thinking for a second. Forgetting a single thing about your partner will be the hardest thing for you from now on.
You Get Distracted Easily
Well, I don't see the point of telling you that you put love in the center of your life, so you can't get your partner out of your head. Never! You get distracted by a ringtone hoping that it is your partner. And, you stop to answer them as soon as possible. You always think about your significant other, so you cannot focus on anything even if you want to because your mind is always busy thinking about them. You start seeing everything through the pink glasses, and through those glasses, you see nothing but your LOVE.
You Look Sleek
To fall in love with someone, you need to get attracted to someone. When you do, you want them to get attracted to you as much as you do. So, you start to take better care of yourself. You pay attention to what you wear and how you look all the time, especially when you are with them. You become your best self around your partner. The only thing you want is to get their appreciation and their compliment so that you can be sure they love you too. It is good to be sleek all the time, but there is only one thing that you need to realize. It is that your partner does not love you because of your look. Your partner loves you because of your personality, so you do not have to restrict yourself too much to look nice all the time. Trust me, they will think that you are beautiful no matter what, and you do not need to feel insecure about yourself, ever.
You Cannot Sleep or Eat
Love makes people so nervous that they cannot get enough or proper sleep. You think about your relationship and your partner all the time when you do not have any problems. So, your significant other becomes the first thing you think about before going to sleep and the first thing that comes to your mind when you wake up. You might even see them in your dreams as well. It just causes you to lose sleep. Since your heart pounds so fast and you feel so strange all the time, you lose your appetite as well. You might delay your meals to meet your partner. You might leave the table to answer their message and forget to go back to dinner because your significant other becomes the only crucial thing for you to live. You are right, though. A world without love is not worth living.
